Job description

Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

As a Vice President in the Chase Strategic Partnerships organization, you will be a high-performing and effective team member managing complex partnerships and developing, refining, and implementing partnership strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote program performance and manage external partner relationships. This role provides an opportunity to shape partner benefit strategy within a key business of Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking group.

Job responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end relationship management for a portfolio of strategic partners, driving partner performance and growth across new and existing relationships.
  • Develop and execute loyalty and engagement strategies with Chase credit card’s most strategic partners, partnering with Corporate Development, Marketing, and Finance to deliver on shared internal goals and partner objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Chase Card, Connected Commerce, and other lines of business to identify opportunities and deliver differentiated value for Chase cardmembers.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA, with a strong interest in strategy and financial analysis
  • Must have partnership management and / or strategic alliance development experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects and competing priorities; strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions, understanding and communication performance and financial data to executive audiences
  • Demonstrates strong cross-functional leadership, partnership, and creative problem solving with the ability to set strategy and influence decisions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Have outstanding relationship management skills with the ability to thrive in a highly matrixed company structure
  • Effectively manage multiple complex initiatives and deliverables at the same time in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills across varying seniority levels internally and externally
  • Be intellectually curious with a customer-first mindset
