What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the engineering strategy, vision, and technical roadmap in alignment with company goals for a large SaaS organization.
  • Oversee multiple engineering teams, directors, senior managers, and technical leaders.
  • Drive organizational scalability, efficiency, and process improvements.
  • Influence company-wide technology decisions and long-term innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure high performance, security, reliability, and compliance across software systems.
  • Build and maintain a high performing, engaged, and diverse engineering organization.
  • Partner with C-level executives (CTO, SVP Engineering, Product, Business, etc.) to align engineering with business priorities.
  • Manage headcount planning and resource allocation.
  • Establish and track engineering KPIs (velocity, deployment frequency, mttr, etc.).
  • Represent engineering in executive-level discussions, customer meetings.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.

  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Deep understanding of the entire SDLC, from design to deployment and maintenance.
  • System Architecture: Expertise in designing scalable, reliable, and secure software architecture.
