Job description

Vice President of Engineering, Randolph, MA (Hybrid/On-Site) HVAC Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale the engineering organization through the next stage of growth. The role will report directly to the President, and will drive engineering strategy, product innovation, manufacturing engineering excellence, and organizational development across multiple facilities.

As VP of Engineering, you will:

  • Lead all engineering functions including Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Quality Engineering, and Engineering Operations
  • Develop and execute a multi-year engineering strategy aligned with aggressive company growth objectives
  • Scale and strengthen a multi-site engineering organization supporting both custom HVAC solutions and next-generation data center cooling products
  • Drive innovation and product development for CRAH platforms, data center cooling technologies, and future thermal management solutions
  • Lead engineering efforts supporting manufacturing expansion, automation initiatives, and operational excellence programs
  • Partner with executive leadership, operations, and customers to ensure successful product execution and long-term strategic growth
  • Build high-performing teams, recruit top engineering talent, and establish a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) preferred
  • 10 - 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within HVAC, thermal management, mechanical equipment, or industrial manufacturing
  • 7+ years leading engineering organizations at a senior executive level
  • Direct experience with air handlers, CRAHs, CRACs, precision cooling systems, or related technologies
  • Proven success scaling engineering teams during periods of rapid growth
  • Experience leading both Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering organizations
  • Strong background in engineering operations, stage-gate development processes, and product lifecycle management

Highly Desired Experience

  • Data center cooling, hyperscale infrastructure, or AI computing environments
  • CRAH, CRAC, liquid cooling, rear door heat exchanger, or advanced thermal management technologies
  • Multi-site engineering leadership
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Executive customer engagement with hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Tesla, or similar organizations
  • MBA or advanced engineering degree
