About the Role

Openprise is the AI and data automation platform behind some of the world's most efficient revenue operations teams. As Vice President, Marketing, you will lead Openprise’s marketing strategy and organization, strengthening our position in RevOps automation and supporting the company’s growth goals. You will define our market narrative, expand brand awareness, and partner closely with Sales, Product, and other leaders to turn strategy into measurable programs. You will lead demand generation, product marketing, and marketing communications, bringing together creative thinking, disciplined execution, and a collaborative, empathetic leadership style.


Hybrid Position

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. THE POSITION IS BASED IN SAN MATEO, CA. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO OUR OFFICE AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK.


Responsibilities:

  • Define and own Openprise's positioning for key buyer personas across our core use Own the company’s marketing strategy, operating plan, budget, and organizational priorities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team

  • Strengthen Openprise’s market position through category development, brand strategy, and differentiated messaging

  • Define and communicate a clear, compelling company and product narrative

  • Design and execute programs that generate demand, enable sales, and build customer and market engagement

  • Establish Openprise as a RevOps thought leader through high-quality content and market education

  • Build influential relationships with analysts, partners, customers, and industry thought leaders

  • Manage a small team of 5


Requirements:

  • 10 or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including responsibility for a marketing organization

  • Strong demand generation background

  • Experience building and scaling marketing at a venture-backed Series A or Series B company

  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and people leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to shape a market narrative, educate buyers, and support category development

  • Ability to balance data-informed decision-making with creative thinking

  • Sound judgment and a willingness to take calculated risks

  • Comfort working in a transparent, collaborative company culture

  • This is a hands-on position that is both strategic and tactical.


Base Salary - $240,000 - $255,000 - will be determined based on experience.
