Senior Associate, Vendor Manager - FAST Bank Operations (Hybrid)
As a Vendor Manager, Senior Associate in Retail Bank, this associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing external vendor relationships, including escalating urgent issues and handling ServiceNow tickets. Key responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with corporate policies by developing and maintaining documented procedures, and reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy against the budget. The team seeks to optimize vendor resources and operations to mitigate risk and reduce costs. They drive value and efficiency by enhancing well managed processes while providing exceptional experiences for our customers and associates
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process & Project Management
    • Develop, maintain, and align documented procedures with corporate policies.
    • Analyze and optimize operational procedures for quality and efficiency.
    • Lead moderate to large projects, securing approvals, providing strategic direction, ensuring timely/on-budget delivery, and overseeing documentation/risk mitigation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project delivery with business objectives.
    • Create and manage tailored process communications, including executive updates, and maintain formal process/project oversight documents.
  • Vendor & Equipment Oversight
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for frontline equipment (e.g., Ricoh Printers) and guide business divisions.
    • Manage vendor relationships at branch/café locations, ensuring efficient onsite services and coordinating equipment logistics (installation/removal).
    • Optimize vendor spend, manage contracts/invoices, and oversee equipment inventory.
    • Drive simplification in supply ordering, vendor performance, and capabilities.
    • Manage the Coupa catalog, monitor budget, and optimize vendor resources/operations to mitigate risk and reduce costs.
    • Provide branch support, including escalation for vendor issues, supply ordering, and branch consolidation support.
  • Efficiency & Value Delivery
    • Identify and implement process improvements through cross-team collaboration.
    • Collect and analyze data to ensure frontline device efficiency.
    • Drive value and efficiency by enhancing well-managed processes while ensuring excellent customer and associate experiences.
    • Support frontline operations and ensure well-managed process execution meets internal/external needs.
    • Create and obtain approval for the yearly vendor budget.

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 3 years of Process Improvement or Project Management experience
  • At least 1 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of Process Improvement or Project Management Experience
  • At least 2 year experience working in Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, or Google Data Studio
  • PMP, BPM, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $88,800 - $101,300 for Sr. Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
