Job description

Job Summary:
Legora is redefining how legal work gets done with their AI-native workspace designed for legal professionals. They are seeking a Founding Value Engineer to build and scale the value engineering function, working closely with sales and customers to demonstrate the business impact of their solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Own value creation in strategic deals by partnering with AEs and Sales Engineers on enterprise and high-value deals
โ€ข Build compelling, executive-ready narratives by translating complex legal workflows into clear financial and operational impact
โ€ข Quantify impact beyond cost savings by enhancing workforce effectiveness and productivity enablement
โ€ข Create repeatable playbooks by use case, segment, and persona
โ€ข Support renewals and expansions through quantified impact reporting
โ€ข Define when and how value engineering engages in the sales process
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Experience translating complex products and workflows into clear, quantified business impact in customer-facing environments.
โ€ข Experience in translating workflows into financial impact and build credible, defensible business cases. You are comfortable working with both high-level assumptions and structured models.
โ€ข You can distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives tailored to executive audiences.
โ€ข You can engage directly with General Counsel, CFOs, and other C-level executives. You communicate clearly and concisely, and can lead value conversations, not just support them.
โ€ข You can deliver high-quality outputs quickly without over-engineering.
โ€ข You are excited to create something from scratch - defining frameworks, tools, and processes that will scale with the company.
Company:
Legora develops an AI software platform to support legal professionals in tasks such as document review, drafting, and legal research. Founded in 2023, the company is headquartered in Stockholm, SWE, with a team of 201-500 employees. The company is currently Growth Stage.
