Job description

J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. is currently looking for an Estimating Engineer.
This position is based out of our Hackensack, NJ office to assist with the day to day requirements of the estimating department.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day to day Estimating operations
  • Read construction plans and perform quantity take offs
  • Solicit vendors for pricing, quotes on various quantities and materials
  • Create bid folders
  • Attend pre-bid meetings

Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar preferred
  • Higher level Excel skills are preferred
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, Agtek, and/or other estimating software and methods
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and speaking on the phone
