Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform both preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment. The role involves working with machinery such as proofers, ovens, mixers, flower systems, high-speed packaging, fillers, metal detectors, labeling machines, and compressors. The work is approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical, and includes general facilities maintenance. Key tasks involve utilizing blueprints and schematics, performing MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel (with a majority focus on TIG, training available), using mills and lathes to machine parts, troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase motors, and working with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various equipment.
  • Utilize blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Conduct MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, with a focus on TIG.
  • Use mills and lathes to machine parts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors.
  • Work with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Handle general facilities maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience working with voltages up to 480V.
