Mobile Maintenance Mechanic - JLL
What this job involves:
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems across assigned facilities. This role assists senior mechanics in maintenance and repair efforts while independently performing defined tasks. The position encompasses inspections and repairs of property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting to ensure optimal facility operations and client satisfaction.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts while maintaining and repairing plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps

  • Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture throughout assigned facilities

  • Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems to ensure compliance

  • Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings

  • Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned

  • Prioritize all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergent work orders for assigned sites (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily)

  • Update work order status in real time utilizing CMMS system and escalate problems or issues to customers and management in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools

  • Proficiency in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Maximo)

  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft., and work in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures

Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPA Universal License

  • Building Automation System (BAS) experience

  • Preventative maintenance experience on HVAC equipment

Location: Mobile position covering San Diego, CA and surrounding area.
Work Shift: Standard business hours with on-call availability
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
53,879.00 - 67,350.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
