Job description

Position Summary
The overnight maintenance position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe environment in a parking garage, including cleaning and sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, and performing other cleaning duties as needed.
Driver's License Required
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am
Responsibilities
  • Clean and sweep floors using various cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.

  • Empty trash cans and disposal of trash per established procedures.

  • Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

  • Ensure supplies are kept in stock/organized

  • Ability to lift and operate a leaf blower

  • Assist with the maintenance of parking equipment, including ticket dispensers and payment machines.

  • Report any damage or maintenance needs to the garage manager.

  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.

  • Communicate effectively with other garage staff and visitors.

  • Direct traffic to cashier/exit as needed

Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements: High School or GED

  • Years of Experience: Entry Level

  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written

Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods

  • Ability to walk short and long distances

  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Use manual dexterity to operate parking equipment, including POF machines, garage gates, and location-specific equipment.

  • Strong sense of customer service

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction.

  • Maintain uniform standards while around the account.

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
