About the Job RN UM

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in a healthcare setting
  • Ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including training and mentoring
  • Assist with patient assessments, physical examinations, and medication administration as needed
  • Oversee the implementation of infection control measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Handle any issues or concerns that arise during shifts, including addressing patient complaints or staffing shortages

Experience:

  • Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Experience working in behavioral health or with children is preferred
  • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and workers compensation laws is beneficial
