Position Overview - Sober Living Staff

This position serves in a sober living facility for adults in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. The position works closely with the therapist and medical teams to ensure clients have a sage, empathetic, and trauma-informed environment that fosters healing and long-term change.

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-Time
  • Days: Saturday - Tuesday, every other Friday
  • Hours: Saturday 4 pm-12 am, Sunday -Tuesday 3 pm-11 pm, every other Friday 4 pm-12 am
  • Pay: $16-$18/hour
  • Location: 4173 S Highland Drive

Responsibilities

The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:

    • Conduct client intakes
    • Supervise and follow the protocol for client medication self-administration
    • Light housekeeping (laundry, replacing living staples, general upkeep and cleaning)
    • Writing detailed documentation (Shift Reports, Incident Reports)
    • Conduct nightly check in with all residence
    • Managing emergency situations
    • Conduct room searches, bag searches, and safety inspections
    • Collect/Conduct urine screenings and breathalyzers
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries
  • Execellent communication and listening skills
  • Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress
