Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Sober Living Support (Evenings / Overnights / Mornings)

Job Description:

Provive Wellness is seeking a reliable, structured, and accountable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support our women’s sober living home in Brentwood, TN.

This role is critical in maintaining a safe, supportive, and well-structured environment for residents in early recovery. The BHT will assist with house oversight, routine enforcement, and medication administration, while ensuring residents remain engaged in their recovery process.

This is a temporary / as-needed position with potential for ongoing opportunities based on performance and program needs.

 Schedule Options:

We are currently hiring for flexible coverage, including:

  • Evening shifts
  • Overnight shifts (sleep or awake, based on experience)
  • Morning shifts

(Ability to cover multiple timeframes is a strong plus)

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain structure and accountability within the home
  • Enforce house rules, curfew, and daily routines
  • Monitor resident behavior and ensure a safe environment
  • Administer and document medications as scheduled
  • Conduct room checks and basic safety checks
  • Provide support and redirection to residents as needed
  • Communicate updates, concerns, and incidents to leadership
  • Document shift notes clearly and accurately
  • Assist with light coordination of daily house operations
Qualifications:
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or sober living preferred
  • Strong ability to set boundaries and enforce rules consistently
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly accountable
  • Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
  • Basic understanding of recovery principles
  • Medication administration experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
