PAYRATE BASE ON EXPERIENCE ADDITIONAL $2 SHIFT DIFFERENCE

REHIRE CRITERIA; 90 DAYS WAITING PERIOD FROM MOST RECENT TERMINATION DATE, 3 TIMES RULE CANDIDATES NOT ELIGIBLE IF WORK FOR TYSON 3 TIMES ALREADY

Job Description: Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs to equipment from Stork Cut Up Lines through packing lines.

Job Synopsis: Primary tasks are performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment on a weekly basis, rebuilding equipment as determined necessary by supervision, facility repairs within area, machine adjustments during production periods and repairing equipment as necessary in the event of mechanical failure. Other responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, documenting corrections made to equipment, filling out requisitions/or communicating to supervision parts required and not in inventory; obtaining parts from supply, cleaning area after repair or PM occurs.

JOB REQUIREMENT: MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS OR MECHANIC WORK EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTED IN THE WORK HISTORY SECTION OF THE APPLICATION OR BE A GRADUATED AND / OR STUDENT OF AN INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TRAINING PROGRAM. (CAN BE A COMBINATION OF EMPLOYERS AS LONG AS EXPERIENCE IS AT LEAST 6 MONTHS)

  • "This position is only slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only" and "Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
