Security Officer - Westley Truck Stop

Truck Stop Security Officer - Westley - Graveyard shift.

Westley, CA | Part-Time | $17.00 - $18.50 per hour | Weekly Pay

Delta Protective Services is hiring a Security Officer for a truck stop security post in Westley. This is an active walking, standing, and driving post for someone reliable, professional, alert, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Schedule:

- $17.00 - $18.50 per hour, including available reimbursements

- Grave Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

- Part-time, with opportunity to pick up occasional swing shifts and day shifts

- Must be able to work weekends and holidays

- Weekly Pay

Job Objective:

You are a professional security officer who can stay visible, alert, and courteous in a busy public setting. You follow post orders and client instructions, report activity using smartphone apps, and help protect people, property, and peace of mind.

Responsibilities:

- Keep Guard Card and BSIS training current

- Follow company policies, post orders, and client instructions

- Stay visible and conduct patrols of assigned areas

- Help prevent trespassing, theft, vandalism, and disturbances

- Report activities using smartphone apps

- Alert law enforcement when a crime or emergency occurs

- Work all assigned hours

- Be polite, professional, and courteous

- Complete other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

- Valid California Guard Card required prior to employment

- Valid driver's license

- Driving record acceptable to company and insurance requirements

- Reliable transportation

- Working smartphone with mobile data

- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to stand, walk, drive, and remain alert during the shift

- Good verbal and written communication in English

- Good with people and professional in public settings
