Job description

Implementation Consultant (monday.com) We're looking for a technically strong Implementation Consultant to join a certified monday.com implementation partner. This role sits at the intersection of solution engineering and client consulting . You'll work directly with clients to deeply understand their business processes, then design, build, and deploy robust monday.com solutions — including advanced workflows, automations, and integrations.

This is not a light configuration role; we're looking for someone with developer-level comfort in monday.com , who can translate complex requirements into scalable, well-architected systems, while confidently communicating with non-technical stakeholders. Role Details Commitment: Part-time, 20 hours/week (with potential to grow into full-time) Location: Fully remote Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Ideally spread across 2–3 longer working days (rather than short daily shifts). Some overlap with AEST business hours (9 AM–5 PM AEST) is required.

Rate: USD $720-1100/month (based on a 20-hour workweek, depending on experience) What You'll Do Technical Delivery (Core Focus) Design, build, and optimise complex monday.com workflows , board structures, dashboards, and permissions. Develop advanced automations and integrations , ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Work with APIs and Python (or similar scripting languages) to extend monday.com beyond native functionality.

Troubleshoot, debug, and refine existing implementations to resolve technical or logical issues. Ensure solutions follow best practices in data structure, automation logic, and long‐term maintainability. Client Consulting & Communication Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Confidently explain system designs, trade‐offs, and recommendations to clients. Deliver client onboarding, training, and handover sessions to ensure strong adoption. Act as a trusted technical advisor, managing expectations and guiding clients through change.

Ways of Working Collaborate closely with the internal team in agile sprint cycles , managing priorities and delivery timelines. Proactively suggest improvements to solution design, internal processes, and client delivery standards. Document builds, logic, and workflows clearly for both clients and internal reference.

About You Technical Profile 2+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, solution engineering, or technical consulting . Hands‐on, developer‐level experience with monday.com is essential. Strong background in building workflows, automations, and integrations.

Comfortable working with APIs ; experience with Python or similar is a strong advantage. Able to think in systems, data structures, and scalable architecture (not just surface‐level configuration). Client‐Facing & Communication Skills Confident, clear communicator — able to present technical concepts to non‐technical clients.

Experienced in client‐facing roles, workshops, or consulting engagements. Professional, organised, and reliable when managing client relationships and deliverables. Mindset & Culture Fit Proactive, self‐directed, and comfortable taking full ownership of solutions.

Startup‐minded: adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity. Enjoys balancing deep technical work with direct client interaction . What's in It for You Balanced Role: Deep technical building combined with meaningful client impact.

Growth Path: Start part‐time with a clear path to full‐time as demand scales. Skill Expansion: Work across SaaS, automation, AI‐powered workflows, and integrations. Autonomy: Remote work with trust, ownership, and minimal micromanagement.

Collaboration: Work closely with experienced founders and project leadership, gaining exposure to both delivery and strategy. This role is ideal for someone who loves building technically sound systems , but also enjoys being client‐facing — a consultant who can design, explain, and deliver powerful monday.com solutions end‐to‐end.
