We’re looking for a dynamic Traveling Operations Manager to lead and grow our transportation services across multiple markets, including Kansas City, MO and beyond. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee fleet operations, support local teams, drive revenue growth, and help scale our services in an ever-evolving industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Market Leadership: Travel to various locations to support, stabilize, and grow operations across assigned markets.

Strategic Planning: Implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and expand service footprint.

Operational Excellence: Oversee daily fleet operations, resolve challenges, and improve logistical efficiency across locations.

Talent Development: Recruit, train, and support local managers, staff, and independent drivers to build high-performing teams.

Customer Relationships: Ensure exceptional service standards and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Fleet Maintenance Oversight: Maintain programs that ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and maximum uptime.

Compliance & Safety: Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and operational protocols.

Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics and execute action plans to meet operational and financial goals.

Budgeting & Procurement: Assist with budgeting, cost control, and fleet procurement across multiple markets.

Client Relations: Represent the company in client meetings, partnerships, and contract discussions as needed.

Team Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across all locations.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 5–10 years of leadership experience in operations, fleet management, or multi-unit management, ideally with P&L responsibility

Proven Leadership: Track record of successfully leading teams across multiple locations or markets

Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75% or as needed)

Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
