Adecco is assisting a Fortune 500 client in recruiting for a Travel Operations Lead in Dublin, CA. This is a full-time temporary-to-hire position in Dublin, CA.

Travel Operations Lead jobs require candidates to have excellent customer service, communication, organization, attention to detail, and must have accuracy and quality of work skills in a high-volume environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for the Travel Operations Lead include but are not limited to:

  • Executives and EA’s – Provide high-touch assistance and recommendations in support of executive travel

  • General Travelers – Provide resolution and customer support to include filtering questions from internal associates and assisting with travel-related inquires

  • Responsible for the company associate questions concerning the company’s Corporate Travel Policy and expense reimbursement. Conduct research necessary to understand and document matters that need further resolution

  • Ensure Travel Policy and other company travel documents are kept up to date and posted on company internal sites

  • Responsible for compliance functions of the online booking tool.

  • Prepare and analyze reports across multiple systems and categories, including but not limited to Travel Policy exception reports and Corporate credit card delinquencies and audits

  • Analyze basic travel patterns/bookings and recommend appropriate actions to drive/change traveler/arranger behavior

  • Company Corporate Card Program management

  • Analyze monthly delinquency reports and make recommendations to department heads, if applicable

  • Direct Bill travel accounts and Central Travel Card administration

  • Responsible for the management of Company’s online booking system

  • Assist with travel reservations or special requests

  • Meeting Planning - Liaison between the company and their designated travel agency for large corporate-sponsored events (e.g. Magic, Off-Price, Field Leadership Meeting, Annual HR Meeting; etc.)

  • Review and analyze past bookings to build the applicable room inventory for various events

  • Coordinate and communicate booking instructions, as well as, cancellation restrictions with arrangers and travelers

  • Facilitate the sourcing of hotels and ground transportation

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for a Travel Operations Lead:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 + years of experience in the Travel industry (Corporate Buyer, Travel Management Companies or Air, Car and Hotel Suppliers)

  • Experience in working with travel suppliers in categories including, but not limited to, air, hotel, ground and ancillary services

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with organizational awareness and sensitivity

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) with intermediate Excel experience (v-Lookups, pivot tables, and other intermediate functions)

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
