Riverside Medical Group is seeking a fulltime Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join our established trauma service at Riverside Regional Medical Center, the regional hub for Riverside Health.

Position Highlights

  • Fulltime schedule: 25 shifts per month
    • Mix of 12hour primary trauma/acute care coverage and 12hour backup call
  • Team structure:
    • Six fulltime trauma/acute care surgeons
    • Five fulltime Advanced Practice Providers
  • Scope of practice:
    • Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
    • Collaborative practice model with APPs
    • Continuous teaching opportunities with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Emergency Medicine residents
  • Compensation:
    • Competitive base salary with incentives for production, finance, quality, and retention
    • APP supervision stipend
    • Opportunity to perform elective surgery for additional compensation when not on call

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school (required)

Experience
