In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a recovery-focused program, ensuring services are effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. You will lead program planning, staff development, and performance oversight while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and funders. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage program operations to ensure high-quality behavioral health and recovery services delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives, goals, and program improvements aligned with organizational objectives
  • Supervise, coach, and support staff by providing feedback, performance development, and leadership guidance
  • Coordinate services across program activities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and client outcomes
  • Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and implement improvements based on data and feedback
  • Manage program budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure financial accountability within approved limits
  • Prepare and present reports for leadership and funding partners while maintaining strong stakeholder communication
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard team members to support program growth and service delivery
  • Engage in community partnerships, policy initiatives, and collaborative efforts to enhance service effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with CARF standards, state regulations, and contractual obligations

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field required

OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Counseling, or a closely related human services field required.
  • If degree is not in a human services field, a bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in mental health services required
  • Three (3) years of experience supervising clinical services preferred

Additional Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
  • Ability to pass background checks including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screening
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required (must attain if not already obtained)
  • Strong knowledge of DSM, psychotropic medications, and substance use disorder treatment
  • Experience with CARF accreditation standards, compliance requirements, and audit readiness
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Strong organizational and workflow development abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and electronic health systems
  • Ability to support individuals with mental health conditions and barriers to employment or independent living
