Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Product Manager or Product Manager to join our Product Development team. This position works closely with Product Development leadership and partners across Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Marketing, Training, and Compliance to support the development and maintenance of commercial insurance products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance product management, product development, underwriting, or a related area and be comfortable working across multiple departments to support product initiatives, forms management, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do
  • Assist in the development, drafting, and enhancement of policy forms, endorsements, and coverage language.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and support product initiatives through research, analysis, and documentation.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of system and process solutions aligned with product and forms strategies.
  • Partner with Training and Marketing teams to create communications, training materials, and product resources for internal and external audiences.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence research and monitor industry trends.
  • Evaluate regulatory and legislative requirements to help ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Document and maintain forms attachment logic and version control processes.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting on coverage interpretation, form wording, and manuscript endorsements.
  • Partner with Claims and Distribution teams to gather feedback and support ongoing product enhancements.
  • Contribute to product development initiatives from concept through implementation and maintenance.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • J.D. considered a plus, but not required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, coverage forms, state regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience RequirementsAssistant Product Manager
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in insurance product development, product management, underwriting, or a related insurance discipline.
Product Manager
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in insurance product development, product management, underwriting, or a related insurance discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product initiatives and collaborate across functions.

Salary Range

$86,000.00-$180,000.00 USD + bonus

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a goodfaith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
