Job description

A Training Developer is needed for a contract opportunity in Edison, NJ. Conducts needs analyses to identify performance gaps, assess client requirements, and recommend solutions.
  • 3 days on site at Edison office, 2 days at home
  • Flexible work hours, 8-hour day
  • Flexible on remote days but most of team comes into office on Tues and Wed

Responsibilities:
  • Apply adult learning strategies and theory
  • Create eLearning modules, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and performance support tools
  • Partner with SMEs to translate complex content into clear learning experiences.

Required Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in designing training for adult learners
  • Skills with common eLearning authoring tools, visual design tools and LMS platforms
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience with Storyline & Adobe
  • Portfolio is required to be submitted with resume or shown to team during interview

Preferred Skills
  • Ability to absorb complex information and convert into clear objectives
  • Experience with scenario-based and authentic learning
  • Strong to great listener and collaborative problem-solver
  • Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Teams would be helpful
