Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Training Developer to support the US Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), TRADOC Proponent Office for Operational Contract Support (TPO-OCS).
Located on-site at Fort Lee, VA, this midlevel role is responsible for executing the analysis, design, revision, and development of OCS training and education products for the Total Force. Working under general supervision, the candidate applies the ADDIE process, TRADOC Regulation 350-70, and TRADOC PAM 350-70-1 standards to meet annual deliverable cycles, support critical task boards under strict timelines, and utilize enterprise tools like TD2 and TRIMIS.
This work is to be on-site at Ft Lee, VA and an active Secret security clearance is required. This position is contingent upon award.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review OCS-related tasks, products, doctrine, and policy to draft recommendation memorandums for training product revisions for the COR and OCS Division Chief.
  • Conduct the annual Critical Task and Site Selection Board (CTSSB). Develop Critical Task and Learning Requirement Lists, and author finalized board minutes no later than (NLT) 2 working days after board completion.
  • Perform separate annual analyses for individual and collective tasks, drafting prioritized revision and development memorandums for the OCS Division Chief.
  • Revise and develop OCS individual and collective tasks, including interactive media instruction (IMI) and Distance Learning (DL) options. Execute product delivery according to schedules based on Estimated Time Values (ETV) and Government prioritization.
  • Review Army Logistics University (ALU) OCS Course training products (9E-SI3C/ASI3C/950-ASI3C) for currency; package and route recommended updates to Course Instructors.
  • Collect historical achievements and project future workload requirements. Maintain annual training development workload data for the COR utilizing TD2 and TRIMIS.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active SECRET clearance required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in military/Army training development, with working knowledge of TR 350-70 and TRADOC PAM 350-70-series processes.
  • Practical experience using Articulate Storyline 360, TD2, and TRIMIS to build and manage training data.
  • 6+ years using Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Pro.
  • Familiarity with Operational Contract Support (OCS), military logistics, or acquisition training environments is highly desired.
  • Ability to work on-site at Fort Lee, VA
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites to conduct training.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $72,000 and $82,000 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
