Summary:

 

TRI-K Industries, Inc., a leading supplier and manufacturer of specialty raw materials to the global personal care and cosmetics industry seeks a Marketing Associate to assist the Marketing department. Exposure to the B2B Beauty and Personal Care industry is preferred. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to data analysis, market and competitive research, collateral development, event & trade show preparation, vendor management, social media, analytics, product launches, advertisements, media partnerships and digital outreach programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Under supervision of Marketing department leadership:

  • Develop a matrix of top 10 multinational beauty & personal care companies detailing their brands, ingredients, and product lines to analyze potential business opportunities, market gaps, and future demands/needs of their organization

  • Gather, catalog and analyze competitor literature, data and pricing

  • Assist with trade show planning and implementation

  • Coordinate with outside vendors and media partners for collateral development, advertising, trade shows, and promotions

  • Manage and update technical documentation on internal cloud service and ensure formatting continuity

  • Responsible for social media platforms and use of channels to promote events, product launches, brand awareness and engage customers

  • Maintain and update company website, UL Prospector, and ShareFile as well as other third party media and digital relationships

  • Assist with product launches, including Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, press releases, website management, advertisement development, collateral creation and coordinating with media partners for promotions

  • Continually monitor market trends and consumer demands

  • Contribute to the creation of digital advertisements using Adobe Create Suite

  • Monitor and track inventory of collaterals and promotional materials

  • Organize, collect and upload leads and track campaign performance using CRM (SalesForce) software

  • Design and manage mass emailing campaigns using ConstantContact and SalesForce in alignment with advertising schedules

  • Responsible for ensuring collateral delivery and shipments to various sales persons and distributors as needed

  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments to facilitate product launches, ensure technical accuracy and meet deadlines
