Global Business Development Marketing Manager

About the role 

An exciting challenge in an international fast-growing environment with a strong focus on delivering trade strategies at a global level. You will be acting as a business driver, contributing to the brand strategy and supporting the markets with concrete recommendations. 

As a luxury goods company in constant growth, we are actively looking for a talent who will take charge of an empowering role. 

Position 

The main mission is to drive and deploy the brand’s fragrance business strategy at a global level. The role covers all trade marketing activities and requires proactive support and closely monitoring project execution across all markets. 

This position requires full commitment and effective cross-functional communication with all departments (Product Marketing, Merchandising, Education, Digital, IM & PR, Media, Supply Chain, Finance…), as well as with global and regional sales teams, to align and implement the strategy while ensuring consistency and protection of brand image and ultimately achieving business objectives. 

Contribute to building effective and relevant 360° activations  

  • Collect key-markets needs, insights & trends, as well as year-1 animations post-mortems, to ensure brand 360° is built to achieve business relevance & performance  

  • Collaborate with global teams to build best in class 360° activations (Merchandising, in-store Animation, E-commerce, Education, Media, Pricing, Sampling, Gifting) as per Marketing calendar 

  • Dynamically investigate business development opportunities (new Markets, new Retailers both offline and online) 

  • Elaborate accurate planograms and follow up on execution. 

  • Help in organizing meetings & building brand presentations for Board Meetings, Fashion Houses, Retailers, Commercial Cycles, Markets Seminars & local events. 

Strategic alignment and business performance monitoring 

  • Regularly track KPIs and produce global sell-in/sell-out performance reports, providing both quantitative and qualitative analyses. 

  • Support the 3Y plan exercise. 

  • Prepare strategic reviews, create presentations for senior management, and ensure annual follow-up of the 3Y plan. 

  • Collect and analyze brand performance and market data, share regular reports internally and with fashion houses 

  • Size and structure commercial initiatives and monitor new product launches (NPD). 

  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and share optimization recommendations. 

  • Category management : discontinuations and catalogue changes recommendations 

Contractual and operational coordination with the Fashion House 

  • Work closely with the Fashion House(s) to support commercial development objectives. 

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and submit business reports; manage distribution changes and the opening of new channels & Share local support plans. 

  • Coordinate the management of Fashion incentives for beauty consultants (BAs). 

  • Coordinate FH boutique management with Markets 

  • Coordinate FH validation for support plans & specific activations (ex. X category) 

Profile 

  • Agility & ability to think global and local and drive solutions that meet both brand requirements and local commercial realities 

  • Fluent in French & English 

  • Team working ability and excellent communication skills 

  • Proactive attitude and innovative thinking
