Job Description

The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working with key NBCUniversal stakeholders, internally and externally, to generate demand in the marketplace and increase sales, specifically for our Entertainment and News linear and digital properties, including Bravo, NBC, and NBC News, as well as Versant properties CNBC, E!, MS NOW, Oxygen, Syfy, and USA. 

This position will report into the Sr. Manager, Trade Marketing. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Sr. Manager in developing and maintaining our suite of sales materials across all properties: sales presentations (generic and customized by brand), one-sheets (i.e. research-based highlights, program overviews), web landing pages, e-blasts, client-direct mailers, event collateral, etc.    

  • Manage programming updates and organize assets, ensuring all materials are up to date with the latest logos, imagery, dates, etc. 

  • Facilitate efficient and transparent communication; liaise and collaborate with a variety of internal groups (Sales, Research, Consumer/Trade Marketing, Programming, etc.)  

  • Assist in event management (ideation, venue exploration, creation/design of branding, list management & day-of execution) in collaboration with Sales and Corporate Events, for best-in-class activations that strengthen Sales’ relationships with key clients 

  • Maintain premium merchandise stock and on-site closet management, as well as ideating and ordering branded items based on Sales priorities 

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with an agency, client, media company, or sales organization background 

  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator proficiency preferred); exposure to database and email marketing tools a plus 

  • Proven ability to create innovative designs, develop visually captivating and clear creative solutions, while adhering to brand guidelines  

  • General understanding of advertising marketplace across various platforms  

  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative standard media research tools; ability to derive insights and craft sales stories based on relevant data 

  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organization and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of management  

  • A self-starter and “Jack-of-all-trades” with a “no task is too big or too small” attitude 

  • Highly creative and collaborative

  • Must be 18 years or older. 

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
