Trade Marketing Associate
Location: Worcester MA
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Trade Marketing Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
The Trade Marketing Associate is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Trade Marketing function. This role ensures the effective execution of promotional initiatives, proper management of point-of-sale (POS) materials, and consistent implementation of brand standards across retail locations. The position contributes to enhancing brand visibility and supporting the achievement of commercial objectives within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of trade marketing initiatives, including promotions, contests, and in-store activations across B2C channels
  • Coordinate the receipt, inventory management, and distribution of POS materials to field teams and third-party agencies
  • Monitor compliance with planograms, merchandising standards, and brand guidelines at the point of sale
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze execution data, including photographic evidence and campaign performance results
  • Provide administrative support, including processing purchase orders, vendor quotations, and invoices
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking the trade marketing budget and related expenses
  • Support the planning and execution of product launches, events, and promotional activities
  • Coordinate with demo agencies to schedule activities, track materials, and ensure timely delivery of reports and KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Logistics, to ensure effective field execution
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Retail, or related areas
  • Working knowledge of retail execution, merchandising practices, and POS material management
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or field execution tools is an advantage
  • English & Spanish proficiency preferred

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to retail locations
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with store visits
  • Authorized to work in the US (without need for sponsorship, now or in the future)
