WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Diagnose and inspect guest concerns per repair order notes

  • Communicate with guests and team leads to determine nature of mechanical problems through all means; i.e. inspections, test drives, advisor or customer statements

  • Perform any/all needed repairs and work as outlined on repair orders from team leads with efficiency & accuracy

  • Collaborate with all service and parts teams to understand needs & provide expert service and advice for guests and dealership vehicles

  • Take initiative to work with service/shop teammates and manufacturer to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the process

  • Maintain accurate records of all services performed

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest mechanical techniques through ongoing training and professional development

  • Provide excellent customer service to dealership teammates and dealership guests

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:  

  • Obtain and/or maintain ASE Certification

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training OR job-related course work required completed

  • Teamwork approach and can-do attitude

  • Your own repair tools

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment independently, working with multiple projects and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to interpret installation instructions, diagrams and schematics to ensure accuracy and precision

  • Strong technical skills and intense desire to learn

  • Communication skills and a professional demeanor as there may be times when guests need instruction and information

  • Sense of humor and motivation to learn and succeed with a team
