Job Summary:
Toyota of Kenner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Kenner, Louisiana. As an individual contributor, the Toyota Experienced Service Technician will be responsible for providing excellent service and maintenance on Toyota vehicles while working on a commission-only basis. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $60,000 to $125,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Toyota vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues with efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and resources to identify and resolve complex problems
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Complete all repairs and services in a timely and professional manner
- Keep track of service and repair records and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain and improve technical skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a certified Toyota Service Technician
- Completion of a technical training program or certification in automotive service and repair
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
