Job Description:

What will you work on?

You will help drive groundbreaking innovation for an exciting Dinosaur Preschool line. Joining our talented Design & Development team, you will bring outside-the-box thinking to create engaging, magical toys from initial concept through to final manufacturing.

A Note on the Role: This is a contract role (with the opportunity for future extension or full-time conversion) based out of ourPlaya Vista campus (4 days per week on-site).
How will you create impact?

  • Generate highly creative design concepts and manage deliverables independently through the full product lifecycle.

  • Infuse innovative mechanical features and smart technology solutions into preschool play patterns to create interactive toy experiences.

  • Prepare and deliver accurate design files and specifications to global vendor and factory partners to ensure smooth translation from digital 3D models to physical products.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, product development, and packaging.

  • Pitch and present design ideas confidently to key stakeholders and leadership.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Previous experience in toy design (preschool toy experience is a plus).If you have prior experience specifically with Dinosaur toys, please call it out in your resume!

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and industry-standard 3D modeling software.

  • Experience utilizing AI generation and creative tools to enhance the design process.

  • Strong presentation and pitching skills to effectively communicate design vision.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $47.00 to $52.00 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
