We are seeking a creative and results-driven Toy Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for our toy product portfolio. This role is responsible for developing product marketing strategies, strengthening brand positioning, managing new product launches, and driving sales through integrated marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience in marketing, product marketing, or the toy industry, with a strong understanding of consumer trends, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Product Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow character brands across digital, ecommerce, and retail channels.
  • Define product positioning, brand messaging, personality, voice, and storytelling strategies for original character IPs.
  • Manage the marketing lifecycle for existing products and new product launches from concept through commercialization.
  • Develop strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, marketing strategies, and industry trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Stay current with social media trends, pop culture, emerging platforms, and consumer behaviors to keep brands relevant and engaging.
  • Analyze product and campaign performance to recommend improvements based on market feedback.

Product Launch & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute creative marketing campaigns and product launches, including promotional materials, launch plans, and campaign timelines.
  • Develop engaging content strategies to maximize product visibility, audience growth, and customer engagement.
  • Support new product launches through coordinated marketing initiatives across social media, ecommerce, and retail channels.
  • Ensure timely execution of launch schedules and promotional activities.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Lead and manage social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels.
  • Create, plan, and publish engaging content that strengthens brand awareness and drives customer interaction.
  • Build and manage online communities by engaging with fans, creators, and customers.
  • Collaborate with influencers, content creators, licensing partners, and brand collaborators to expand brand reach.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Track campaign performance using social media analytics, Google Analytics, Shopify, and other marketing tools to optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Ecommerce & Retail Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with ecommerce, sales, and retail teams to develop integrated promotional strategies.
  • Support online product marketing initiatives across ecommerce platforms.
  • Collaborate on retail marketing initiatives to improve product visibility and sell-through.
  • Monitor digital performance metrics and recommend optimization strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design, Production, Product Development, Sales, Ecommerce, and Licensing teams to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align marketing activities with business objectives.
  • Support promotional materials, product presentations, and sales enablement activities.
  • Bring creative ideas and innovative approaches to make character brands more recognizable, engaging, and shareable.
Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand marketing, or social media marketing.
  • Passion for characters, toys, lifestyle brands, pop culture, or entertainment.
  • A creative thinker who loves turning ideas into engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and viral content.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company where you'll wear multiple hats.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage projects independently.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Passion for storytelling, community building, and brand growth.

Preferred

  • Experience in the Toy Industry or consumer products.
  • Experience working with Social Media and eCommerce marketing initiatives.
    • Video editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
    • Experience with Shopify or e-commerce marketing is a plus
  • Korean/English bilingual is a plus.
  • Experience with retail or consumer marketing is highly preferred.
  • Photography and basic photo editing
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar creative tools
  • CapCut, Premiere Pro, or other video editing software
  • Illustration or drawing skills
  • Experience managing influencer or creator collaborations
  • A strong eye for cute, colorful, and fun visual design
