Dual-Property Director of Housekeeping

Vertex Premier Hotel Services – Orlando, FL

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience

Location: Orlando, Florida

Vertex Premier Hotel Services is seeking an experienced and hands-on Dual-Property Director of Housekeeping to lead housekeeping operations across two timeshare properties in Orlando.

This role is responsible for maintaining strong operational performance, service quality, staffing, labor management, guest satisfaction, and client relationships at both locations. The ideal candidate has experience leading high-volume timeshare or resort housekeeping operations and is comfortable managing multiple properties, leadership teams, and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations across two timeshare properties.
  • Lead, develop, and support managers, supervisors, inspectors, room attendants, house attendants, runners, and other housekeeping team members.
  • Maintain consistent quality, productivity, safety, and service standards at both locations.
  • Create and manage daily operational plans based on occupancy, arrivals, departures, staffing levels, and business needs.
  • Monitor room assignments, cleaning productivity, inspection results, and on-time unit readiness.
  • Ensure guest units, public areas, storage areas, offices, and back-of-house spaces meet company and client standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with property leadership and clients.
  • Conduct regular property walks, room inspections, and quality audits.
  • Develop staffing plans, schedules, and labor strategies for both properties.
  • Monitor payroll, overtime, labor costs, productivity, budgets, and department expenses.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
  • Coach and develop leaders while holding teams accountable for performance and attendance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate operational reports, staffing records, inspection documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels for linens, amenities, chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping supplies. Report shortages and needs to client in a timely manner to ensure units are properly stocked for guest arrivals
  • Partner with maintenance and property leadership to address unit deficiencies, damages, and safety concerns. Ensure all supervisors and inspectors are reporting deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, OSHA standards, and all applicable employment and safety regulations.
  • Respond quickly to guest concerns, client requests, staffing shortages, and operational emergencies.
  • Support property transitions, special projects, deep-cleaning initiatives, and high-occupancy periods as needed.
  • Travel regularly between both Orlando properties and remain visible and engaged with both teams.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel, resort, or timeshare environment.
  • Previous experience overseeing multiple properties or a large, high-volume housekeeping operation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of timeshare turnover operations and unit-based housekeeping.
  • Proven ability to lead large and diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong experience with staffing, scheduling, labor management, productivity, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client relationship and guest-service skills.
  • Experience with employee training, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping systems, payroll systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both properties.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and varying schedules based on operational needs.
