Job description

We are seeking a Test Manager for the CSES contract.  

The Test Manager is responsible for testing potential releases, service release packages, and changes; reporting findings to the change board; and managing the test environment and underlying test processes. This role helps reduce outages caused by insufficient testing while supporting efficient, accurate validation of service changes. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Experience testing changes and reporting results for services and systems with requirements of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

  • Must meet applicable DoD 8140 cyberspace workforce qualification requirements for the assigned work role, including an approved baseline certification equivalent to IAM Level II or IAT Level II.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification, or current equivalent ITIL 4 role-aligned certification; related modules/exams should be stated.
  • Current role-based Microsoft Associate or Expert certification relevant to the assigned technology stack; certification should be stated.
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or current Microsoft Configuration Manager / Microsoft Intune equivalent.
  • GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) certification, or current GIAC Windows/endpoint security equivalent.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification; relevant exam/syllabus version should be stated.

Education

  • As required by the labor category and customer requirements. 

Clearance

  • As required by the contract/task order.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage testing for changes, releases, service release packages, patches, software deployments, and other operational changes. 
  • Maintain test processes, test plans, test cases, evidence, defect records, and test result reporting for change board review.
  • Manage and mature the test environment to support accurate, repeatable, and scenario-based validation.
  • Coordinate with change, release/deployment, security, configuration, desk-side, server, and customer stakeholders to validate readiness and risk. 
  • Identify test coverage gaps, recurring defects, and opportunities to reduce testing cycle time without sacrificing quality.
  • Apply human-centered or user-centered design considerations to testing where customer experience is affected.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $150,000 - $220,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
