Job description

Echodyne is seeking a Debug and Test Supervisor to join our fast-growing team. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians engaged in debugging and repairing activities of radar components in a production environment
  • Lead trouble-shooting exercises as needed
  • Provide job assignments and resolve issues
  • Prioritize tasks and manage overall workload of the team
  • Test, rework and repair of radars, electronic devices and accessories
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Product Development Engr and other teams as needed to support testing, debugging and repair activities
  • Maintain and report KPIs and ensure KPI goals of the team are met
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  • BS in Computer Science, EE, ME or equivalent Engineering degree in a technical field or formal training in electronics such as military or trade school
  • 5 or more years' experience in electronics manufacturing and test environment
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience in a production environment
  • Supervisory or lead experience within a production environment
  • Experience with assembly and test of sensitive and delicate electronic devices. Ability to follow assembly, test, and rework documentation
  • Ability to read and understand engineering documentation such as circuit schematics and to identify components based on their schematic representation
  • Proficiency in PCBA debug, and repair (soldering)
  • Proficiency with RF electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.
  • Familiarity with ESD control processes and materials
  • Collaborate with engineers and other co-workers to create, review, improve, and document processes in the debug and repair areas
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • IPC Solder Certification
  • In-depth knowledge of RF circuits
  • Ability to assist in creation, editing, and improvement of production assembly and test documentation
  • Ability to analyze production data to find trends or deviations in test equipment or product performance
  • General project management skills
  • Previous experience with manufacturing processes of radars
