Job description

Job Summary:
Tesla seeks a Product Manager to transform Vehicle Service Operations through software that powers how Service Advisors manage customer concerns and interactions and Technicians repair vehicles. You'll support the platform used by service centers globally, partnering with various teams to build features that reduce repair cycle time, improve quality, and enhance advisor efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Establish product vision and roadmap for internal tools powering service documentation, case management, diagnostic workflows and repair tracking used by technicians and service advisors across global service centers
• Analyze Technician and Service advisor workflows through Service Center shadowing, interviews, and data to identify opportunities reducing repair time, improving first-time fix rates, and streamlining customer case management
• Partner with Engineering to define requirements, scope features and ship solutions balancing technician efficiency, advisor productivity, documentation accuracy and technical feasibility
• Collaborate with Data teams to establish metrics measuring repair quality, cycle time and service performance, validating decisions with quantitative insights
• Work with Service Operations to test solutions, drive adoption and iterate based on real-world usage
• Present trade-offs and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, driving alignment through data-driven storytelling
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2-5 years product management or operations or consulting experience with strong analytical skills and operational mindset
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration abilities with proven track record translating technical concepts for service teams and operational needs for engineers
• Bias for action with comfort managing ambiguity, prioritizing ruthlessly, and making decisions with incomplete information
Preferred:
• Automotive service experience is a plus
• Technical operations or experience with diagnostic systems and case management tools
