Report To: Technology Solutions Manager

Position Summary: This position is responsible for selling grade control, drone solutions, telematics and other construction technology solutions.  It ensures Foursight Solutions’ success by gaining new customers and promoting repeat business by consistently providing solutions to challenges our customers face day-to-day.

Duties and Tasks:

  1. Territory Development Manager responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    1. Actively promote products for compact equipment in the Foursight Solutions portfolio.
    2. Manage all facets of accounts assigned to your territory
    3. Understand and promote the solutions we offer through the entire workflow, from building a model to getting top production out of the solution
    4. Actively manage a pipeline of opportunities in an organized manner, utilizing the systems provided to track progress
    5. Locate and call on new prospects for Foursight Solutions products utilizing data provided as well as through cold calling
    6. Deliver systems to customers after proposal has been accepted to include installation of the system and training on the system
    7. Support customers with active support agreements and other customers as needed
    8. Participate in demonstrations of technology products as requested by the store personnel you’re assigned to represent
    9. Escalate support issues to the Foursight support team, when a support call exceeds the allowed time
    10. Maintain assigned demo inventory in good operational condition, and keep stored in secure location at all times
    11. Assist teammates whenever necessary by sharing your knowledge and experience
    12. Comply with company policies and governmental regulations 
  1. Other Duties
    1. Keep assigned vehicle and other inventory clean, well-organized, and well maintained
    2. Maintain administrative duties of the job accurately and in a timely manner
    3. Represent the organization in a professional way at industry and educational events

 

Requirements:

  1. Highly motivated, energetic, and ability to work with little oversight
  2. Not afraid to work with your hands and use basic hand tools
  3. Ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs
  4. Formal degree in Surveying or Geomatics, or 3 years hands on experience with technology products used in surveying and construction industry
  5. Sound working knowledge of Topcon machine control, experience with other manufacturers also acceptable
  6. Working knowledge of one of the following: Magnet Office, AutoCAD, Carlson, AGTEK, or Trimble Business Center software  
  7. Strong communication skills
  8. Strong computer skills
  9. Part 107 pilot’s license is a plus, but not mandatory
  10. Knowledge of heavy construction workflows and processes viewed favorably 

Working Conditions:

  1. Hazards from electrical, mechanical and power equipment
  2. Risk of exposure to chemicals such as steam cleaner soap, used oil, spent antifreeze, parts cleaning solvent, volatile hydrocarbons, battery acid
  3. Extremes of weather
  4. Mists, fumes and non-continuous noises of varying sound level and intensities
  5. Heavy dust from job site conditions

The pay rate is commensurate with knowledge, ability, experience, and location and includes competitive incentives.  This position earns commissions and starts with the base rate.  Range includes potential commission earnings.
