NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description

Mighty is a wholesale only business serving automotive installers such as quick lubes, repair shops, tire shops, car washes, fleets and dealerships. We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our winning team and “Be Mightier!”

Immediate position available - Mighty New Business Development Manager

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, have a “hunter” mentality, have a demonstrated track record of identifying and qualifying new customer prospects, successfully developing relationships and excel at working independently with sound decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Grow and maintain existing customer accounts on a daily sales route
  • Prospect throughout the available territory to develop new sales opportunities
  • Plan account and territory strategies to achieve specific sales growth objectives
  • Work in an advisory role with customers to create programs that result in upgrade opportunities and
  • new product lines being added        
  • Train and educate customer staff on preventive maintenance programs and new products
  • Collaborate with General Manager on inventory management, sales planning and execution
  • Wants his/her compensation to reflect the results he/she delivers
  • Effectively plan sales route for maximum efficiency
  • Input sales orders into proprietary sales software tool
  • Assist with collecting payments from customers if necessary
  • Grow market with help from fellow Mighty team members
  • Performs other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cold call experience
  • Consistent follow up
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Successful career in automotive parts sales with outside sales experience
  • Extensive knowledge in tire repair, undercar, underhood, and chemicals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must pass a drug screen, background check, and MVR check
