Pacific Ridge Builders, Inc. is currently seeking a Temporary Office Assistant to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Pacific Ridge Builders is a growing company that takes pride in having great talent on our fun and energetic team. We are looking for ambitious, friendly, organized team members who are dedicated to task completion and problem-solving.

Job Description

 Ideal candidate will have at least 1 or 2 years of professional experience. He or she must have the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Greet all clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Help to maintain workplace cleanliness
  • Answer phones in a professional manner, and route calls as necessary
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties
  • Track and maintain office and project supplies/tools
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as filing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems
  • Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material
  • Ensure operation of office equipment by scheduling preventive maintenance requirements and repairs as needed

Experience & skills

  • Prior experience in related field a plus
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
  • Consistent, friendly, and professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Great time management skills
  • Experience with administrative procedures

Education & certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
