Job description

Overview

Kitchen stewards / dishwashers are a key position for all of our resort dining locations. Job duties typically include washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, as well as cleaning and detailing equipment. Kitchen stewards also maintain the kitchen, dishwashing, and back area in accordance with local authority and restaurant guidelines.

We are currently seeking candidates for full and part time roles for the coming winter season. Shifts and work locations may vary and could require nights, days, weekends, and holidays. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19 to $21 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
  • Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
  • Collect and remove trash and recycling from all areas of the operation.
  • Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment following established procedures.
  • Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
  • Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager or chef on duty.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Kitchen Steward, upon demonstrated job performance excellence, will be considered for numerous growth opportunities.


Qualifications

No previous experience required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
