Kitchen Steward

Join our Food & Beverage team as a Kitchen Steward and help keep our kitchen running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. The Kitchen Steward is responsible for cleaning dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, and other items cleared from dining areas.
  • Clean heavy pots, pans, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and clean assigned kitchen and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitor kitchen trash receptacles and empty them as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations.
  • Properly use cleaning supplies and equipment according to safety procedures.
  • Assist kitchen team members during busy service periods as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, fellow team members, management, and vendors.
  • Follow all company policies, sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or dishwasher position is preferred but not required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to take direction and follow verbal and written instructions.
