Temporary HR Assistant (90โ€“120 Day Assignment)

Location: Marion Ohio
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25โ€“$27/hour (based on experience)
Assignment Length: Approximately 90โ€“120 days

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department during a short-term project. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of independent, focused work and employee interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scan and digitize personnel files to support the transition to electronic records
  • Assist with enrolling plant employees into a new HR software system (one-on-one support)
  • Ensure accuracy and organization of digital personnel records
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
Schedule Requirements
  • Standard hours: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
  • Occasional early shift required (5:00 AM start) to assist with 3rd shift employee enrollments
Qualifications
  • No prior HR experience required
  • Previous office clerk or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and basic software systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Dependable and able to work independently

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
