Job description

The Ford Agency is searching for a Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator to join a leading association based in DC. This is an immediate opening for an IT professional with strong service desk and 365 administration experience who is available to start working right away. This is an in-person temporary role, located in downtown DC and is expected to last at least 6 months with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities Include:
• Support the daily operation of the IT service desk, ensuring resolution and positive user experience
• Act as the primary 365 and Azure administrator
• Configure user identities, and support Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Intune/Endpoint Manager policies to ensure a secure digital environment
• Collaborate with leadership on cyber security best practices
• Manage multi-factor authentication, conditional access, security gateways and ensure appropriate system level protections are in place
• Provide AV and tech set up for virtual meetings as needed

Qualifications Include:
• 5+ years of IT service desk support
• 365 & Azure administration experience
• Experience managing security operations
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
Compensation:
• $40 - $55/hr

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
