Manufacturing Engineer - Senior


Job Description & Duties:

  • Assess and provide probable solutions to production related issues
  • Make equipment upgrades and improvements that apply principles of lean production. Coordinate machine repair and maintenance requirements. 
  •  Conduct Lean Production Workshops. 
  • Complete Six Sigma/Cost Reduction projects. 
  • Provide support in improvement activities.
Qualifications

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Required-Knowledge of assembly processes, skilled trades, quality engineering, and lean production. 
  • General knowledge of hydraulic systems and test equipment.
  • Experience in the implementation of Lean Production.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt status.
  • Knowledge of CNC - Fanuc machine programming. 
  • Must understand and use G&M codes and macro programs and variables.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and thorough knowledge of tooling/programming.
  • ID grinding, OD plunge form grinding, and centerless grinding processes and machinery.
  • Conventional and CBN abrasives and their applications.
