Part-time manufacturing jobs typically do not pay $2000 weekly due to their limited hours and pay rates. To reach that income level, individuals often combine multiple roles, pursue higher-paying remote positions, or develop specialized skills such as machine operation, quality control, or technical troubleshooting that can command higher wages. Building experience and certifications can also increase earning potential in manufacturing-related work from home settings.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time manufacturing employees, and how can they be managed?

Part-time manufacturing employees often face challenges such as quickly adapting to variable shift schedules, staying updated on process changes, and integrating with full-time teams. Effective communication and a willingness to learn new tasks are essential for success. Many companies offer onboarding programs and provide ongoing training to help part-time staff stay informed and connected. Building relationships with team members and supervisors can also ease transitions and support professional growth.

These roles may include tasks such as assembling products, operating machinery, packing goods, or quality control. Part time positions can offer flexibility for students, parents, or anyone needing a non-traditional work schedule. Workers are usually paid hourly and may have the opportunity to move into full-time roles based on performance and business needs.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

In manufacturing, roles such as experienced machine operators, supervisors, or specialized technicians can sometimes earn around $4,000 weekly, especially with overtime or in high-demand industries. Job description

Manufacturing Technician (Levels 1-2

Brownsburg & Whitestown, IN

We’re partnering with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing company that’s doing something rare: reinventing building materials using recycled, 100% safe materials—at scale.

Founded by leaders who helped scale high-growth, multi-billion-dollar organizations, this company is early in its lifecycle—but well-funded, customer-backed, and expanding quickly. They are intentionally building their technical and maintenance talent from the ground up and investing heavily in the people who help them grow.

If you’re mechanically inclined, hands-on, and want more than “just a shift,” this is where real opportunity lives.

Why Strong Technicians Choose This Company

This role is built for people who want to understand how things work—and then make them better.

You’ll work directly with production, engineering, and leadership teams to keep complex systems running, improve reliability, and solve real-world mechanical problems. As the company scales, high performers don’t stay in the same role long. Those who show ownership, curiosity, and technical ability grow into senior technician, engineering support, and leadership paths.

This is a place where:

  • Good ideas are heard
  • Skill growth is encouraged
  • Accountability and pride in workmanship matter

Role Overview

Manufacturing Technicians support, maintain, and improve production equipment and systems across the facility. Roles are leveled MT1–MT4 based on experience, skill set, and technical depth.

You’ll work in alignment with the company’s core values: Purpose, Integrity, Progress, and Collaboration.

Manufacturing Technician Levels & Responsibilities

MT Level 1

  • Operate equipment, machines, vehicles, and hand tools safely and to standard
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance (lubrication, belt adjustments, inspections)
  • Move materials using forklifts and other equipment
  • Stage raw materials and finished goods for production and shipping
  • Load/unload materials and finished products
  • Partner with senior technicians on maintenance and repairs
  • Support industrial cleaning and organization efforts

MT Level 2

All Level 1 responsibilities, plus:

  • Perform downtime-impacting preventative and recovery maintenance
  • Diagnose and replace motors and mechanical components
  • Troubleshoot equipment using manuals, schematics, and documentation
  • Monitor and adjust temperatures, viscosity, metering, sequencing, and material flow
  • Identify and prevent system seizing or mechanical failures

What We’re Looking For

•Mechanically inclined problem-solvers who take pride in their work

•Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

•Ability to work independently and take initiative

•Willingness to support weekends and rotating shifts as needed

•A can-do, will-do mindset in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Minimum Qualifications

•1–5+ years of applicable manufacturing or maintenance experience (level dependent)

•High school diploma or equivalent required

•Engineering-related education or experience is a strong plus

Compensation & Growth

•Competitive hourly pay based on experience and level

•Employer paid benefits upon hire

•Potential stock options upon direct hire

•Accelerated growth as the company scales

Shift:

•Sunday-Wednesday 6:00A-6:30P

•Wednesday-Saturday 6:00A-6:30P
