Terms of Employment
This is a 10-month position for 4 hours per day. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Purpose
Provides accurate and timely accounting entries in order to maintain an accurate account of building finances, supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 3+ years experience in accounting/bookkeeping. Proven computer usage as could be obtained by 1 to 3 years experience. Proven oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with the staff, other school officials and the demands from a variety of sources. Proven telephone etiquette. Proven 10 key adding machine experience with proficiency in statistical typing. Attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills required with the ability for independent follow-up and ability to meet deadlines. Requires proven, accurate math skills. Ability to be a team member, be flexible, handle interruptions and maintain confidentiality. Minimal travel required. (Requires own transportation to drive to bank daily.)
