Job Title: Facilities Services Temp (Academic Year)

Reporting Relationship: Facilities Services Director/Manager

Unit: IWU-Marion

Department: Facilities Management-IWU Marion

Campus Location: Maintenance Building, Marion

Summary of Position:    Facilities Services temp would serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director in areas of General Maintenance, Housekeeping, or Grounds Care.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director. Responsibilities could include: General Maintenance General Housekeeping General Grounds Care Assist where needed within Facilities Services 
  • Adhere to any safety regulations and standards spelled out in the IWU safety policy
  • Comply with any processes and procedures established by Facilities Management and or Indiana Wesleyan University administration. May be required to work overtime as directed by supervision

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • High School diploma (completed or in progress)

Experience

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed day-to-day tasks.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
