Job description

The Facilities Department is looking for Temporary Event Support Assistants to help with Commencement setup activities. The activities are scheduled during the weekend of May 23 & May 24, 2026. The work will begin at about 8AM on May 23 and 5AM on May 24 and may consist of up to twelve hours per day. (Hours may change due to weather)

Responsibilities include:

  • Setup and removal of tables, chairs, and tents

  • Other commencement related tasks as needed

This is an on-campus position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must dress appropriately including wearing sturdy shoes or sneakers.
Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with event setup.

Compensation: $16.94/hr.
