Special Event Security

 ***This opportunity is a great way to get your foot in the door for a permanent position! *** 

We are looking to hire for Summer Event Security in the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Iowa Areas.      

Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & the surrounding areas. --- All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch.     

Pay: Ranges from $17.00 - $20.00 an hour depending on event.  May receive additional for holiday pay.

Shift: Various hour needs during Summer/Fall Events in 2026 - Events may come up on short notice. Some overnight shifts may be available as well.

Requirements:    

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license/identification card.
  • Must be able to pass a National Sex Offender Registry and 4 Panel Drug Screen.  
  • Must open availability. (Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply.)
  • Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
