Description

The Telecommunication Specialist provides day-to-day support, coordination, and maintenance of enterprise telecommunications systems and services. This role assists with telecom installations, troubleshooting, inventory management, carrier coordination, and operational support across multiple locations and works closely with internal IT teams, vendors, and end users to ensure reliable and efficient services. This role will be 100% focused on a project to convert legacy POTS lines to VOIP. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage and support enterprise telecommunications systems including voice, SIP, POTS, cellular mobility, internet connectivity, and related infrastructure. • Coordinate telecom installations, upgrades, disconnects, and decommission projects across multiple locations. • Provide support for telecommunications systems including voice services, internet circuits, cellular devices, and related infrastructure. • Assist with telecom service requests including installations, disconnects, moves, and changes. • Troubleshoot telecom-related issues and coordinate resolution with carriers and vendors. • Monitor and maintain telecom inventories, records, and documentation. • Support cellular mobility administration including device activations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. • Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and internal departments on telecom projects and service requests. • Assist with telecom billing review and invoice processing. • Escalate complex telecom issues to senior team members or management as needed. • Maintain accurate records of telecom assets, circuits, phone numbers, and carrier information. • Support site openings, relocations, and decommission activities. • Follow established telecom procedures, standards, and best practices. • Participate in after-hours support activities when required.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
