Job description

Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a senior Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator to manage the planning, coordination, and implementation of enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and critical infrastructure projects across state facilities.

In this contract role, you will apply formal project management methodologies to drive network integrations, technology modernization initiatives, and lifecycle asset management. You will serve as a key technical lead, coordinating cross-functional activities and managing strategic partnerships with major telecommunications carriers and technology vendors.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Atlanta, GA
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Must be local to Metro Atlanta and available to report onsite as directed by the client).
  • Interview Mode: Web Cam or In-Person.
  • Shift: EST.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Infrastructure Modernization

  • Apply formal project management standards to lead enterprise-wide telecommunications, data network, and voice modernization projects.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure upgrade roadmaps covering VoIP/HVS transformation, wireless infrastructure, fiber/structured cabling, and Cisco endpoint refresh programs.
  • Coordinate deployment activities across multiple state facilities, managing project plans, milestones, risks, and leadership reporting.

Technical Implementation & Coordination

  • Oversee site assessments, inventory reviews, equipment staging, and migration strategies away from legacy voice platforms.
  • Manage facilities-related infrastructure requirements as they intersect with technology, including public address systems, HVAC monitoring, and fire alarm communications systems.

Vendor & Asset Governance

  • Maintain active partnerships with telecommunications carriers and vendors, coordinating deliverables, tracking performance, and participating in selection evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory reconciliation efforts, ensuring infrastructure assets are documented properly in Enterprise Asset Management systems.
